Painting on the Stripes

We finally got a chance to get the boot stripe and the pin stripe painted on. This started out being a bit of a divorcer kinda job, but ended up great. We were super stressed while trying to tape off the stripes. We felt like it was all wonky and not straight, but once it was all done it looked perfect. All the 'horrible' areas that were 'ruined' were not even noticeable and we didn't even have to pretend that we hired someone to do it and they messed it up.

What we used:

• Interlux Brightside paint in black
• Scotch Blue Delicate Surface with Edge-Lock tape
• 1" foam brush for the pin stripe
• small closed cell foam roller and badger brush for the rolling and tipping the boot stripe
• cold beer/mixy drinks for afterwards (or during if needed)
